PAYMENT

In order to confirm your tour, payment is required and may be made by bank transfer, PayPal or cash payment. Your booking is guaranteed only when the payment is made.  Please email me in the first instance to check availability.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

In case the tour gets cancelled, you will receive a full refund. Tour itineraries may be subject to change due to weather, road conditions or other unforeseen circumstances related to the travel and outdoors photography. I understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances necessitate the cancelling of a tour booking. Should you wish to cancel your booking you must advise by sending an email. Upon receipt of your cancellation the following fees may apply:

7 days or more before commencement: No penalty
2-3 days before commencement: 50% of the tour fee
24 hours or less before commencement: 100% of the tour fee
In case the cancelled tour gets re-sold, you will be refunded all fees paid, less any bank or handling charges.

PRICING

Tour fees for 2017 are based on prices as of 01 January 2017. Should price increases occur in such items as transportation, fuel, and accommodation, among others, Aiste Photography Tours reserves the right to adjust the tour fee accordingly. An increase in prices shall not be deemed to be grounds for any refund of fees paid for the tour, other than in accordance with the terms of the cancellation policy. Bigger group surcharges may apply and will be advised at time of booking. All fees and amounts are quoted in New Zealand dollars (NZD).

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

Aiste Photography Tours are designed to be suitable for people of all ages in good health and moderate fitness. While activities are not strenuous, on some tours we may be taking hikes on tracks in wilderness areas, including alpine regions, which may involve uphill walks and uneven ground. It will be necessary to carry your own camera equipment, extra clothing, food and water for these activities. Should you have any concerns about your own capabilities and/or fitness in relation to a particular tour, please contact me to discuss this before booking. You are required to disclose any medical or physical condition that you have which could create a risk for you or any other participants. Once a tour has been confirmed, medical circumstances will not be considered as exceptions to our cancellation policy.
Please bring clothing suited to early morning or evening shoots that may be a little chilly, sturdy foot wear, hat, sunscreen and camera of course. Like any trip away from home please bring personal medication.

CAMERA EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

A modest level of photographic experience would be advisable to get the most out of the tuition. Familiarising yourself with the basic camera operations would be strongly advised.

INSURANCE

Personal travel insurance is strongly recommended for all participants as no insurance is included in the tour fees. Camera and equipment insurance is the responsibility of the individual person.

RESPONSIBILITY 

The responsibility of Aiste Photography Tours (APT) is strictly limited. As a tour operator, Aiste Photography organizes, promotes, and sells programs consisting of certain third party travel services, including, but not limited to, land, air, and water transportation, and accommodations that APT purchases or reserves from various suppliers. APT does not own or operate any of these suppliers. The suppliers are not agents or employees acting for APT. As such, APT is not responsible for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any supplier or of any third party. By utilizing the travel services of the suppliers, you agree that you will look to such suppliers for any accident, injury, property damage, or personal loss to you or to those travelling with you and that APT shall not be liable. APT cannot accept responsibility for losses or extra expenses caused by, but not limited to, delay or changes in any transportation services, weather, illness, injury, strike, quarantine or other causes. All such losses or expenses will be the sole responsibility of the participant. APT reserves the right to substitute accommodation of similar category for those indicated and to make any changes in the itinerary or transport where deemed necessary. Where weather conditions or forces of nature restrict or prohibit trip activities, APT reserves the right to alter the trip program and substitute alternative activities.

PARTICIPANT PHOTOS ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Photos will be taken of participants during any tour and may occasionally be posted on our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest).  If you object to these photos being published, please advise us in writing via mail and we will ensure your photos are not displayed.

LIABILITY LIMITATION STATEMENT

Aiste Photography Tours aims to provide every participant with a safe, educational and enjoyable experience during the tours. As there is always an element of risk associated with the outdoors and travel in general, I accept no responsibility/liability for injury, death, illness, losses or additional expenses associated with tour participation. However I am still subject to all New Zealand laws.

The information provided by participants will not be released to any other parties. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

By booking with Aiste Photography Tours you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The form must be signed by each participant prior to the commencement of the tour. Participation by any trip member will be declined in the absence of the signed release of liability form, with no tour fee refund.
